Expressions of Interest for DNA Extraction
Monday, 29 October 2007
This is a call for expressions of interest (EOIs) in extracting DNA from sheep blood, storage of the extracted DNA and distribution of aliquots to research laboratories for analysis. Commercial laboratories, service providers and research organisations are invited to consider submitting an EOI.
Proposals to provide all components of this EOI, or provide DNA extraction only, or storage and distribution only, will be considered.
SGP will assess responses to this call on the capability of organisations to meet the technical requirements and on draft budget. A formal proposal will be invited from one or more organisations prior to final selection and proceeding to contract.
Proposals for co-investment may be considered.
Detailed information can be found in this document.
Further discussion with SheepGenomics prior to submission of an EOI is strongly encouraged.
For questions or further information on technical requirements including different extraction protocols contact Dr Mohammad Shariflou, mohammad@vetsci.usyd.edu.au; 02 9351 4789; 0423 840 008
