Ram breeders: You are invited to complete the Agouti pigmented-fibre test survey
SheepGenomics (AWI and MLA) are reviewing interest from Ram breeders on implementing a new DNA test.
This test assists in identifying the genes responsible for recessive black pigmentation (Agouti) in sheep, which can not be visually displayed through colouration on the sheep.
Please complete this online survey and provide us with feedback on whether this test is valuable to you. From your feedback we will gain an understanding on whether we should proceed with commercialisation and further development of the Agouti DNA test. If your feedback is positive we hope to have this DNA test available within Australia in approximately a year.

For further information, or if you would like to be sent out a paper version of the survey, contact either:
Amanda McAlpine: MLA, 02 9463 9228 or Dr Graham Cam: AWI, 02 82953123
